About Christie Garton
Christie Garton is the leading expert on the college experience for women and the author of U Chic: The College Girl’s Guide to Everything(Sourcebooks) and U Chic's Getting a Grip on Your Freshman Year: The College Girl’s First Year Action Plan (Sourcebooks). She is an award-winning social entrepreneur and creator of UniversityChic.com, an online magazine and networking community for college women nationwide. From founding Music Mentors, a youth-oriented music volunteer program that performed at the White House, to interning at Glamour in Paris, Christie enjoyed the fabulous college life at the University of Kansas.
