Frank Palmasani, founder of two websites to help families manage the costs of college, began learning about the college financial aid process in 1976, his first year as a high school counselor. In 1981, he moved to the college level, eventually becoming a director of admissions. After twelve years in this capacity, he returned to the high school arena as a guidance counselor, a position he continues to enjoy today. In 1985, Palmasani began delivering seminars to parents and students on the college financial aid and planning process. He has delivered seminars to more than 200,000 people.
An accomplished seminar presenter, Frank is a member of the Illinois Association of College Admissions Counselors (IACAC), the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC), and the College Board. In addition to his parent seminars, he also has produced seminars for high school counselors, seminars for college admissions representatives, and a classroom presentation for students. Palmasani has been featured in the Boston Herald and WGN-TV Chicago.
