Questions to Ask Before Going Greek

Information adapted from The Naked Roommate.

Harlan Says:

If you decide to rush, do not take the process too personally. These people don't know you and have no way of knowing you so quickly. Look at it like this—they should be more concerned about impressing you. They need new members.

Try to get answers to these questions:

Is the organization officially recognized by the school?

Is there a Greek advisor?

Has the organization been on probation (or is it currently on probation)?

What's the average GPA of organization members?

How much will it cost?

What's the time commitment?

Is this the right fit?
